A senior disciple of Padma Shri Mandolin U. Srinivas, Vishnu underwent nearly nine years of rigorous, immersive training, with his Arangetram at the prestigious Shrinivas Institute of World Musique (SIOWM), founded by his guru.

His musicianship is distinguished by command over raga alapana, kalpana swaras, niraval and manodharma — supported by laya, tonal clarity and gamaka articulation, faithfully preserving the Mandolin U. Srinivas bani.
